Waddell Realty is proud to be affiliated with many schools who offer the real estate license class. Below are the criteria for becoming an agent in the state of Georgia, and a link to where you can locate a school close to you.
The requirements to become a real estate salesperson in Georgia include:
- Being at least 18 years old for a real estate salesperson license
- All applicants are required to be a high school graduate or have a GED, and all must provide a Georgia Crime Information Report (GCIC) that is not more than 60 days old.
- Need to either complete 75 hours of approved Pre-licensure real estate courses, or completing 10 quarter hours or 6 semester hours of approved education courses at an accredited college or university.
- The first step to begin your real state career is to get a real estate license. There are a number of places that offer this course and you have a choice of day classes, night classes, or even computer based self-paced training. If you select our home study Pre-license Course, you’ll have the flexibility to work from your own computer (home or office.) Study the lessons at your convenience then advance to the next lesson after you have learned the materials.
